How to get there - Leave the M56 at Junction 7. At the roundabout take the second exit into Lymm Road and continue for about 1 mile. Park in the layby on the right just before Ye Olde No 3 Inn.

Get a map with driving directions to start (enter the postcode of your starting point at A)

Suggested Launch Site - You can launch over the bank.

General Description - This is a relatively short trip of 5 or 6 miles to Lymm where the Golden Fleece can provide welcome refreshment.

The Bridgewater Canal was built in 1761 and is the first Canal in the UK not to follow the course of an existing waterway.
