How to get there - Just look on map. I have pinpointed it.
Suggested Launch Site - At the end of Withington Lane park your car and walk around corner to canal, just after the last lock. You can then paddle for at least ten miles before reaching another lock.
General
Description - This is a nice paddle going through some beautiful countryside, through a country park and past a golf course. I believe you can paddle as far as Chorley without meeting another lock so just go as far as you like and return. There is a pub after about 2 -3 miles right at side of the canal that serves food.
