How to get there - From Stoke-on-Trent take the A53 eat towards Leek. After Enden and then Dunwood turn right into Denford Road. The Hollybush is on the right at the second canal bridge.

Suggested Launch Site - The suggested launch site is from the car park at the Hollybush pub at Denford which is owned by British Waterways. If you intend to leave a car here its polite to ask and give some custom at the end of your trip.

General Description - The trip starts by passing under the aqueduct for the Leek arm and up 3 locks to Hazlehurst Junction where you turn left onto the leek arm. The total trip to Leek is just short of 3.5 miles giving a pleasant 7 mile round trip. You will have to navigate the 118 metre Leek Tunnel
