Suggested Launch Site -
From the car park its an easy launch into the canal over the bank.
This is a lock free trip of about 6 miles across the Cheshire Plain. After clearing the back gardens of suburban Chester the trip is largely open agricultural land with good views as you approach Beeston Castle with 13th century fortifications on top of an iron age fort.
