Suggested Launch Site - Park as close to the Canal Centre as possible and portage down path to the canal. Launch over lowered section of bank.

General Description - Set off north (right) under swing bridge. Although this canal is always close to houses etc it runs in its own stretch of countryside which is surprisingly pleasant. In two miles you will reach Deepcut Top Lock. The flight of locks down to St Johns is 17 locks but if you have a portage trolley it is well worth the trip. If you can see the next lock don't bother getting back on the water. After 14 locks there is a mile until the next group of three and then a further mile and a half to Kiln Bridge at St John's. Take out on the left before the bridge next to the public car park.
